Education Canada, CEA's flagship magazine is published five times a year. Its editorial stance stimulates thought and provides a forum for ideas and perspectives on current educational issues. Annual subscriptions and single copies can be purchased through CEA or at magazine stands across Canada. Past issues are also available while copies last.
Bulletin is CEA's monthly electronic newsletter, which serves to inform and engage members and friends of CEA - and all individuals who care about education and learning. It provides useful information about the latest in education news, policy, research, initiatives, events and ideas.
CEA's 2010 KI-ES-KI Handbook is a comprehensive bilingual directory with over 4,000 entries of key contacts in education ranging from government departments/ministries of education officials, education associations, faculties of education, colleges, universities and school district leaders. For over 35 years the handbook has been used as a vital reliable resource for finding experts, colleagues and customers.
Imagine a School... a dramatic performance created by high school students from Halifax, Toronto and Vancouver opened CEA's symposium "Getting it Right for Adolescent Learners" on May 15-17, 2006. Find out what adolescents are saying about their experiences by ordering the DVD of the performance which also includes a documentary of the creative process of the actors and teachers as well as highlights of the 2006 Symposium Getting it Right for Adolescent Learners. A Guide to using the DVD to animate discussion is included.
The School Calendar provides all opening and closing dates for primary and secondary schools in every Canadian province and territory. This free downloadable resource, complied annually, is an essential tool for conference, event and vacation planners.
In May 2007, CEA hosted the Design for Learning symposium in Montreal. Students were challenged to design learning models of the physical environments, educational programs and relationships to support learning in school. This DVD represents their vision.
